About Us:
After years of HVAC training and experience, brothers Chris and Dan Nelson came together to create Nelson’s Heating & Cooling in 2004. In 2005, they started working full time for the company as it started to grow. Our ac repair, installation, and service teams offer safe, efficient, and knowledgeable service to our clients. We pride ourselves on “safety first” by providing weekly safety meetings with our employees. This ensures that the entire staff is up to date on OSHA requirements, safety issues, team building, recent projects, and gives us the opportunity to have an open discussion. Our Owners
Chris Nelson (Pictured Left)
Chris Nelson, president of Nelson’s Heating and Cooling, has over 15 years of experience in the HVAC field. Chris Nelson was born in Newport News and raised in the Toano area. While attending Lafayette High School, he attended vocational school for HVAC training. After graduation, he worked for a residential heating and cooling contractor for five years and then for a commercial company for another five years. Chris holds a Masters HVAC Certification and a Class A contractor’s license. In 2004, he and his brother, Dan, founded Nelson’s Heating & Cooling. When Chris isn’t working, he enjoys hunting, fishing, softball, and golf. He currently resides in Toano with his wife, Stacy, and their adorable son, Oren.
Dan Nelson (Pictured Right)
Dan Nelson, vice president and co-owner of Nelson’s Heating and Cooling, has been working in the HVAC field for more than 10 years. Dan was born in Newport News and raised in Toano. He completed vocational training during high school and after graduation, he studied HVAC at the Universal Technical Institute in Houston, Texas. Dan has worked in the industry since 2001 and co-founded Nelson’s Heating & Cooling with his brother, Chris, in 2004. In his spare time, Dan enjoys saltwater fishing, softball, playing guitar and golf. Dan resides in Toano with his wife, Sarah, and their little boy, Henry.
Our AC & Heating Repair Services
